Tennis Court Re-Surfacing

Colour Coated Macadam Surface

By far the most popular surface with its ease of maintenance, good looks, ease of installation and subsequent value for money.

Macadam Surface

Installed in the same way as our colour coated surface, however the macadam court is left to naturally fade from its black colour to a soft grey and does not benefit from the protection of the colour coat.

Artificial Grass Carpet

These carpets come in a wide range of options but are generally sand filled and are laid directly onto macadam surfaces after preparation works are carried out.

Artificial Clay Surface

A carpet system using special fillers to give a realistic clay surface feel.

Testimonials

Jayne Smith

The team at Coloured Courts are amazing! I had a few companies come out to talk about my project and they are the only ones that seemed to genuinely care.

Joe Heath

I've been using Fred and his team for over a decade now to maintain, clean and resurface my court to keep it in pristine, playable condition all year round.

Richard Barrett

When I moved into my current house, the tennis court installed was very run down. Coloured Courts were able to resurface the court for me. Highly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need Planning Permission?

The need for planning permission depends on your local authority, but may only apply to the fencing surrounding for courts in a private garden.

What About Maintenance?

We provide a maintenance service that ensures your court stays at the highest possible standard for the longest period of time possible.

This Programme works best as a preventative treatment for moss and algae but if your court is already in a poor state from these things additional attention may be required.

How Long Will My Paint Last?

Your paint forms the wearing course, taking the abuse of play and the environment in place of the macadem. You can expect your court to be repainted every 5 years.

How Long Will My Court Surface Last?

This will be most affected by environmental factors (such as surrounding trees) and standard of maintenance, which results in quite a big range in surface lifetime.

For Macadam Courts,  whilst the LTA suggests a surface lifetime of 8-10 years, we often find courts outlast this, and usually reach 12-15 years before needing substantial work.

Whilst Carpets can go on for many years more.nim ab voluptate id quam harum ducimus cupiditate similique quisquam et deserunt, recusandae.
